This year the quest of Kala Roopa is going international with its efforts. I will be working with organizations teaching prostitutes and trafficked children in India how to make jewelry as well as textiles. These women, some kidnapped and forced into the sex trade industry have hurt and shame unimaginable. Please be in prayer for them as their freedom will be negotiated so that they may come and live in new homes  and learn about the love of Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit and these pivotal sustainable livelihoods.
 

THE QUEST

 The mission of Kala:Roopa meaning Sacred Art: Blessed with Beauty is to serve the poor by creating the opportunity for positive economic change. 

Kala:Roopa operates to create jobs for artisans locally and in areas where poverty has burdened the people. Kala Roopa teaches & empowers artists to maintain creative productions that hone in on and embrace their individual skills. In doing so, Kala:Roopa intends to be a catalyst involved in developing appropriate infrastructure conducive to job creation, economic opportunity, and the demolishment of generational poverty. Kala:Roopa moves about with the intention to restore dignity, hope and integrity to all involved.
